There! How's that? You get your car running right away and I'll have a drive shaft when I finish the T5 swap in my white 240z.
Done and done. Sound good Bleachie?

oh yah an apollo, its realy no big teh wiring, its a few power wires 2 to the battery, you need a signal for start another for ignition (run) or maybe its 2 wires for that, a few grounds and if your gonna have your fuel pump run the same as before and not re wire it another wire for your fuel pummp relay 2 wires for teh ignitor, a wire for teh tach... its really no big. sit down look at these write ups for a while and it'll make sense

sure they are for S30's but teh wiring harness is the same so you just tie tehm into the same connections on your car look at a wiring diagram you can figure it out, i had to cause tehre were no write ups directly for a 260Z most were actually for 280z's actually so tehy were already EFI. just do it!

dont forget the 280zx takes a signal from the oil pressure sender to run the fuel pump. if that isnt integrated, it can really suck. apollo do the maxi fuse upgrade, it will remove all the fusable links, and make powering that beast easier.

check out my turbo swap thread. I think I put some info on the wiring in there towards the end.
Dont' forget to pull the little coil wiring harness from the turbo car. Leave your NA wires for the coil in place for now as well. My thread talks about how I used those power and ground wires to power up the turbo coil.

Ya, the driveshaft for t-tops trade sounds good. I'll bring it down with me.

So with the driveshaft now in the Z its just wires that keep her fmro running. So im looking around, asking who i can have help with that **** when it occurs to me . . . .why not have the Z specific mechanic at work do it!!! DUH!! Not only will it be warantied work, but at the unbeatable playa price i was offered i couldnt refuse. No fuss, just drop it off, and for around 100 bucks and 3-5 hours wait time i got a running Z. Then just smog, and its GO TIME.

Quite possibly . . . .I just had it towed to Nissan. Come Monday, it should be running * knocks on wood*. Now, since its a dealer and im just a lowly employee, I get knocked down the totem if customers need work done. So lets just hope those good ol Nissans around the greater bay area can hold off from breaking or needing routine maintenance so I'll be in and out.

get a new core put on the old tanks, go 3 core dense. they work great and can cool anything. doing this is cheap and efficient

radiatorbarn.com right there.... they are awsome... they are better than stock slightly, they are almost a diy radiator, same mounts and location for inlet and outlet but idk, they arent stock you know? they label them as a diy anways why, i dont know. they also got performance as for a zx though, idk if they do. a stock replacement one will be about 180 dollars though but tehy are brand spankin new and shiny!

You can get generic Griffen track aluminum radiators brand new for 180.
Be warned, they have no mounting tabs. Yes, none at all. You have to build a "tray" of some sort to hold it in top and bottom. weird. They say "universal mounting" which means no mounting tabs. Summit Racing sells them

Yea i was thinking griffin. I dunno, i guess i'll just stick it out till its running and see if it even needs aftermarket cooling.

why spend $180 on repairing a radiator when you can buy a brand new stock or aftermarket one for the same price?
I wouldn't spend more than $70 on any repairs. Its not worth it.

SWEEEEEEEET!!! So the Z got some love from Nissan today. We went over the wiring and he just wont hard wire anything. Doing the **** all legit. Kinda sucks cuz now i gotta pull hella more shti from the turbo car. Mainly the fuel pump control modulator. Dunno what it does, just that he wants it and its harness. So work will commence manana and with the luck of the Z gods and Jims millions of years of Z experience it shoudl be all good and RUNNING. Then to DMV for a day permit to get some exhuast and finaly to a "special" california state referee for a smog. * mr burns voice* . . . .Excellent . . . .

You will make it to MSA Jake, not like my local Z32 friend here...

I dont' know what that fuel pump module does either. You saw my build. I never used it at all and my car works fine.
