Way to go on the turbo swap . 4 months isn't really that long . It's gonna be worth the wait though. We should go to a test and tune one of these days and get that baby dialed in.

While you're waiting to get the car street legal, here's a quick vid of what your car will sound close to (minus the BOV). I'm running 3" exhaust to a magnaflow. For speed reference, that's 101 on the left so the cars are going freeway speed.

Thanks. Yea 4 months really wasnt long at all. The actuall swpa really only took 2 weeks working here and there with the bulk of the work being wiring. Not that i had to re-wire anything, just taking the dash out and runing the whole car harness from the turbo car in to mine was a time consuming but easy task. But damn, i have not driven my Z since Dec. Almost half a year. WAAAAAYYYYy too long. As soon as she is legal you better believe that weekend im gunna organize a East Bay meet. ****, i think that may be this weekend . . . .

JACKPOT!!!

So after taking the time to actually think about what is about to be done to my car i realize the stock downpipe is cast iron. No bueno. Cant weld to that. And i threw away the lower steel flange. So i start searching for a stock replacement and find something even better. A turbo parts car loaded with ****. So to make a long story short, tomorrow i will have-

-complete HKS exhuast system
-HKS super sequential blow off valve with intake pipe
-cold air intake
-Autometer boost guage and fuel pressure guage w/ isolator and mounting cups/A-pillar mount and everything needed to connect'm

All for an extremely low playa price. Holy ****. Why cant i have this kind of luck when playin lotto all the time?

I got just what i need. Man o man what a sad story behind that Z. 1 owner and one of the nicest low mileage turbo cars ive seen. Let a kid drive it and he put it in a ditch and ****ed the front, side and rear alllll up. I'll post pics later. So as of now, its just a matter of putting the new goodies on and geting my red tag and shes ready to hit the road!

Haha, yea yea. Laugh it up wade. I had the firing order right but i had the spark plug wires in thge wrong spot. So it was basicaly 30 degrees advanced or whatver. Thanks to Wade and Issac and their ability to deal with my idiotic calls of inquery it runs cool now. All my HKS **** is hooked up and the car is technically ready for the road. i have to say . . .there is nothing like having anything and everything at your disposal to aid in the work on any car. Things like . .oh . .i dunno . . .a lift? -Score-

I know, the engine bay is a lil messy. My focus is obviously getting it running and running right.

Looks good. How fun to work on a Z up on a lift in a shop larger than my house.

Right on apollo, looks great from here bro'. I am so envious of you man, and those taillights, look pretty sweet. I guess they kind of grow on you, after a bit. Also do you know what color you are painting your Z? Just wondering anyway keep up the good work man.
