Oh! SNAP!

 

Today was kinda fun. I dipped in to the money i put aside for the swap and went parts shopping. Got a nice elec fan for the new radiator, 3" hi-flo cat and a new optima battery. Fun stuff.
So I thought i would share the Nissan diagrams they gave me for the swap. Dunno if they differ from the ones you find in a Chiltons or whatever but this way you guys dont gotta buy it! Just click to enlarge. ENJOY

Note- E.C.C.S. diagrams are for the turbo set up. E.F.I. are the non turbo

So here are some pics. The dash is still out and the wiring looks like a mess but i have it way better than it use to be . . .trust me. I got some vid of the 1st start up after install too but for some reason it wont upload from my digi cam. Oh well. I'll post it later.

Well its finaly time. . . .i got a magniflow on the way and the new radiator and elec fan are installed and go to go. Now i just gotta wait for the damn muffler. Once it gets here im heading straight for the exhaust shop, then to get her smogged. You think a few cities would mind if i got a day moving permit and drove the Z, open down-pipe, to get the exhuast welded up? naaaahhhhhh

 

permit? pshhhh F that crap just go with it, whats the worst they could do, give you a 25 dollar noise ticket. its not that loud unless you get on it anyways, plus you get to hear teh full sweet sweet turbo spool unrestricted

 

Uhhhhh . . .try tow and impound? Its not even registered yet. Its on non-op reg. I need a moving permit to go get it smogged, given the car is legal, unless i tow it. Dude, its California. Home of the smog *****. Taint no ****en around here.

 

Well aint that a bitch. My magniflow is here in town at the local FedEx station, but it wont be delivered till monday. AND i called to see if i can pick it up directly buuuuuuttttt NNNOOOOOooooo. They "cant let me do that". So now i gotta wait one more ****ing week cu i work all day Monday-Fri so cant take it in until saturday. This is getting old real quick. I just want my Z back. . .*sniff sniff*

 

dude, what another week. i waited just as long, and another week goes by quick, just dont think aboot it. think of naked chicks and boobies, time flys!!!

 

haha, ic ic, well, here (even before teh smog exempt OBDI and earlier law) you could get your car all registered blah blah blah and get a nice 20 dollar ticket and have a rotary on straight pipes. lol. cali blows. sorta

 

And so its here fellas. The LAST item keeping me from my Z and the open road. This is by no means the last upgrade. Just the last thing keeping me from driving the Z right now. More goodies to come. Im so ****en excited, its kinda like seeing a GF you havent been with in hella long and you know you gunna get some booty.

funky munky its skully, lol, magnaflow huh, is that 3 in 3 out? get a sound clip when you have that put up id be much appreciative cause i dont know if i want to do a canister muffler at the end or an inline muffler like a magnaflow, well either way its gonna be somewhat canister like but you know what i mean.

 

dammit jake, you should bring that thing to the '07 Shady Invitational. when is that BTW???
