Thanks for the kind words, ZBRICK, but I'm through with this thread. These guys, snw and 2by2, have been indoctrinated by the public school system, and they refuse to think otherwise. Hopefully they'll learn otherwise when they get out and get a job and start paying taxes. I'm done....

he didn't say he's going to make us communist and make us all have equal incomes. he said the stupid rich people will get more taxes and the not so rich AND poor people will get cuts. it's not that big of a deal. stop making a mountain out of a mole hill. a little bit of that is a great idea, because some people are too rich. too much of it, makes it socialist. obama didn't say he was going to spread all the wealth.

 

just as long as those 'rich' are just the multi-millionaires then that's fine.

 

When you have a real job and credibility then we will talk politics. Otherwise the only reference point you have to life is what you learned in school or when you were on the streets, instead studying. Eventually you will grow-up and see how serious these issues are and that people pay to much in taxes now, but of course you have to have a job and real life responsibilities before that happens. You are making yourselves sound like have nots that are jelous of others and have to take from them because they are incapable of succeding on their own. yeah im not old enough to vote but i have had a REAL job no matter which way you look at it (although it might not be a career) how do you think i payed for my $2100 car and the $250 air dam, $200 worth of tires, and a small but good $100 sound system and gas so i can drive to school everyday?(EDIT: and oh yeah this $450 computer)I work my *** off durring the summer for Barfield Painting (yes the family buissness) so i have a little insight like "Joe The Plumber" when it comes to small buissiness... i work around 8 hours a day on week days or untill the job is finished(usually while having to go to several job sites the same day so we are not in the way of the electricians and pppplumbers) this **** is manual labor not whatever you do in your office so i might have a little more respect for where my money will be going than you if thats where you were headed(all be it i dont pay taxes but i do understand the responsibility)

and do you understand Obamas tax policy? it only applies to people making over 250k and then the 39%(only larger by 4% than the standard rate i believe) tax rate is applied ONLY to the money made after the 250k(the 250k is not touched) not a drastic as you may think but if your neting over 250k a year 4% or so is not going to ruin everything you have worked oh so hard for.
