biggest Z meet is this sunday. over 100 cars signed up already, tho i have to miss it i believe. branson Z fest is soon in missouri. ummmm... we got chi2k10 comin up but that is more of a supra event like a mini texas2k10 but still kick *** hosted by sound performance. they build some serious supras and 350Z's. besides that idk... lol. a few random chicagoZ meets and the JDMchicago bootleg meet where we fill up a entire shopping complex parking lot of every type of car from camaros to evo's to supras to RX7's with LS1 twin turbo swaps. lol. thats may 1st. over 200 cars last time.

and whats legal mean, 18? lol. perv

Jesus, I have spent every weekend at some form of race track for the past 4-5 months, I have been at willow springs no less then 3 times a month as well. Track days are fun, but **** I need to take a break from it. between doing mods on my sisters z's and doing maintenance on the race cars and fixing various things on my bike, I have no time to sit back and relax. and **** is willow springs boring after a while. I need to get a set of leathers and take my bike out for couple track days again.

Yeah... such a hard life being at the track all the time...

Anybody watch the St Petersburg / Longbeach GT / GTS / TC races yesterday? Pretty sick stuff... especially when the Nissan GTR jumped over the Porsche and just kept driving like nothing happened.

Unfortunately I was at willow during the LB GP, so I didn't get a chance to see anything. I'm getting a press pass for next time though.

So after selling my 240z and finishing selling off all of my z parts, I wanted to do something with my old beater parts car. My sister has been stealing parts off of it to replace little things on her z32TT. Now I weighed the car in full street trim, with a full tank of gas at 3250. I'm sure if i totally stripped the interior, except for aftermarket seats, dash, aftermarket gauges, wilwood pedal setup and removed the 100 or so pounds of sound deadener from it and dropped an LSx, VH45 or vg30et I could get it to 23-2400 pounds. Especially if I gut the doors and use a 8 point harness. a bare and empty z32 chassis without sound deadener should be comparable in weight to a 280z chassis.

Not that bad, the nice thing about having a partially stripped car to start with, is that I don't have to spend hours stripping it myself!

You only have grass down here, if you replace the soil, lots of good seed and water it religiously.

Something like that, if she ever needs something off the car to fix something on hers. I'm gonna be doing a suede interior swap in her car in a couple weeks. Then down pipes, fallowed by a EBC and a tune.

****. I left for willow this morning with 12 tires in the trailer. When it was time to go home, I had 34......... The good news is though, is that I didn't pay for them! The bed of the truck was COMPLETELY filled, the tire racks where completely stuffed and we ended up just tossing the rest in the trailer after we finished packing.

did any one see the pawn stars where the guy tries to sell his red and black 30th ann 280zx to them and its kinda a pile of crap?

that guy was a total fool, told them its worth $60-70k after fixed up, settled for $4k and then bitched at them when they had a mechanic look it it and had the mechanic tell them the real story on the thing

lol yeah. omg was that dude a TOOOOL. fixed up its worth 70k! haha. oook. and then saying it ran fine when it clearly had a massive miss. which if the HG or rings weren't blown would have been a prob easy fix but def not just a tune up. and the trans shifted like **** apparently, which i didn't even know the AE's came with an auto. seems dumb. lol.
