some problems

I'm having some problems with my car. I'm not quite sure what is. When I run the car. If I give the vehicle gas when it is in neutral it responds and the rpms will go up, but once I let my foot off the gas the engine will eventualy stall. It only happens when I give it gas. If I start the car the engine will idle normaly but once I give it gas that and then let it go that changes

Does it do this only when the engine is cold or both cold and when fully warmed up?

hmmm, I don't know. Maybe my car just needs some tuning up. new fuel filter, oil change, changing other fluids and etc. I also have another problem. It's related to my electrical. Sometimes my car wont start. I'm thinking it maybe a bad fuse or my ignition switch. I know I'm going to eventual need to replace ignition switch because I can currently stick anything in it to start it up

lol, that's a common problem with most Z's, almost any kind of flat key can open/start them.

Hey check you're ignition module on your intermittent starting problem.

Find out if your cars only stalling when it's cold or warmed up or both. Can narrow it from there.
Tune up couldnt hurt though.

lol, I've mystified people with that. It's somewhat of a nice feature when you lock your keys in the car, any key will open it.

There are three things in life that I would not be able to stop doing:
1. wreckless driving (it's only illegal if you get caught. krispy kremes in the rear storage bin helps.)
2. smoking (it's only illegal if more than the pack and letters are green.)
3. my girlfriend (it's only illegal if she looks, acts, and sounds 15, claims to be 19, and you get caught.)

I follow all related laws except for #1, but no one can prove that.

There is a vacuum line that runs from the charcol box to the bottom of the throttle body. If that is disconnected or cracked it will cause the problem you just described. I had the same problem.

hmmm. I do have a vacum hose that isn't even attached to anything and my car does sounds like it has a few vacum leaks too. I bet if I replace my vacum hoses my car will run better.
