I think Nismopick said the 280ZX spindles are shorter or something and require modification for the 4-piston calipers. I put the 4-piston calipers on my 76' 280Z with no issues. The only thing that had to be changed was the backing plate around the rotor had to be trimmed to get the caliper to fit. Cutoff wheel solved that real quick.

oh yeah--boatkat reminded -you guys will be sitting out here in deep snow and ice and cussing out the freeeze and i will be sailing to the virgin islands in one month ----have fun and stay warm.....water temp there in december is 85 degrees .....sun shine i swarm.....no snow......mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!

. There has to be like this huge anti-datsun bubble over the area over here because there aren't even parts in the junkyards

wellllllll i START school the 11th but i dont go anywhere. my college is like a 10 min drive from my house. nice and close and no not a community college just lucky my 4 year of second choice is one town over. I might graduate this may but i think ima go one more semester and get CTI certified for ATC so i can pull down BANK and its a govt job so i can get into the FAA if i want and have a kick *** pension. plus after 2 years you get a 100k salary or better. so that be pretty sweet. and there is a air traffic controller shortage, specially in the chicago area/other congested airspace areas where there is lots of flights.
