dude Iv scrapped more than one L24 because I couldn't get rid of it


I gave Klotz a perfectly working 4 speed to cut up for a spacer and parts and still have another one laying around.

L28s will usually go, but L24s have like no market.

I only sold my L26 because a buddy needed something cheap to replace his smoking L24

yeah, its in fresno though, maybe if it was complete and ran, it would be worth it, but for how much gas it would take to get there and back would just kill any money i would have saved by buying a good long block.

I do no smog, DEQ, or inspections. I run 0 emissions equipment.
Even if a it was a brand new car (gotta love being exempt )

The first and last time theyve popped my hood was at the DMV to check the vins when I first registered it.

The Z rolls around town quite a bit

 

It's not that big of deal. While I don't get by that easy(they only test 74 up), my 79 came with no catalytic preverter, so I don't have to have one. Then all I have to do beat is something like 2% co and 200 Hydrocarbons.
The car I bought for a donor engine passed the test with .02% co and 0 HC. I'd have to do something REALLY STUPID to get it to flunk...
