problems
About 4 days ago i got my car back from the shop the get my brakes done... on the way home the car run fine, parked it in fount of my house and 2 days later when i go to put it in the gerage it starts missfiring and not have much to look at it i left it there, well when i came back to it yesterday to see if its still having problems, i went to start the car and it did not want to start. It did but then shortly after it stalled. the carbs also poped about once or twice...
so any ideas on whats up? im about to pull the pluges to see if they are bad
thanks

next time, do your own brakes, theyre easy. :- p
BUT you should check out the possibility that the brakes (somehow) caused the problem.. see if holding the brake pedal down while starting or running the car makes any difference... if it does, try disconnecting the big vacuum line that goes to the brake booster and plug it. see if that helps. i dont know that it will, but your problems started with a brake job, and this is the only direct connection between the brakes and the engine, so its worth a shot.. there is a check valve in line between the manifold and the booster, and that goes bad sometimes.
