well that's actually a pretty good explanation snw. i could support selling it seeing as you are rebuilding it with used internals, and the cylinder walls are chipped.

the tops of the 3 and 4 PISTONS are chipped which is why they are getting replaced, the cylinder walls are great, going to hone them only, low mileage pistons which i shall clean so no one can dispute that or not, new rod bearings and new full ring set for the pistons milled head ARP studs and the MLS HG will bring the engine back to factory compression with better than factory strength. it will all get cleaned up nicely. whats wrong with you? think i'd half *** something? only quarter *** it since im not keeping it, and it will still be great for the next buyer, not like its going to quite on them. i almost started thinking about keeping the car myself after the rebuild, then i though, NAH labor is only so much value in my book.

ITS REALLY PISSING ME OFF his lazy *** wont go fix it up and he wont let me buy it to fix it up... no it disapeared, its not in any of the local J-yards, im going to ask the guy that owns the shop i saw it last at some day

it actually wasnt that shi**y it just needed a dizzy and ecu (i think) it could have been completely tore the F up when it came to trans and internals

lol id still like to get those bumpers off of it lol

 

I'm still really surprised with my 280Z so far, rust, but it all seems to be surface rust. Everything is really solid. It's just really dirty. I've wanted to work on it more to get it ready for my turbo swap then it got cold again.

Oh well going to Florida next Friday for a week that should be nice.

oh, and thought im pretty sure i know the answer to this question anyone think you can re-use an MLS head gasket thats been torqued to spec but never ran the engine with it. lol.... such a waste....
