lol its AWD, if it has 500 AWHP its going to runn 10's, my buddy has a 490hp evo and it runs 10.9's no suspension work done. with the ARP head studs and cometic head gasket the motor is perfect for 500AWHP its very robust engine and the head flows great, and its stock appearance, how is that rice? cause it came from japan? thats retarded rice is from china. you drive a Z it came from the same place. also i would be EXTREMELY surprised if my car ended up like that considering thats a 2G eclipse and i have a 1G talon.

Well I should be picking my 280Z up soon. I ended up not getting the ebay 260Z. Looking over pics I had of it after purchase the frame rails began to bother me. I worked it out with the owner and I ended up not buying it. I found another guy about 20 minutes away from me with a 76' 280Z. Interior is beat, car is dirty as hell, but it looks like it's all there. I really checked. The worst part looks like the passenger floor pan, but from what I can tell is it's solid. Just has surface rust. It has a 5-speed in it. Engine is well pretty much dead. Owner said the spray bar for the cam failed or got clogged or something and basically then you can guess the rest. Anyway it seems like a good overall car for my turbo swap. Brakes are good and that whole system is intact, has good tires, etc. Surface rust around the battery tray as well, but nothing too bad. It's a South Carolina car so that's good.
Anyway any recommendations on what I should do with the motor? Just scrap it or what? It does have an EGR-less N42 intake so I could make a few $$ off that seeing as I already had bought a N42 awhile back. I figure I can sell or use the valve cover, intake, it has relatively new injectors, sensors, etc? Oh by the way will a N/A throttle body work fine for the turbo motor? Are they different sizes? I stripped out one of the bolts along time ago for my TPS. So it's held down by one bolt. It works, but if I had two that'd be better.

they do make drinkable aintifreeze. If i am not mistakin. Army uses it. the army is huge on the enviorment. weird.......... Don't get a drop of oil on the ground. or else well fine you 1,200$!!!!! yet drive this tank that gets 5 gals to the mile. over and wash all the grime of it.

woooo i get to change trannies today/this weekend, just like you will. but your gay. also my BOV is not tight enough it hangs open between shifts and doesnt start to build boost until about 2 seconds of flooring it in the next gear. a bit annoying. also i got all the lug nuts broken free finally. so hopefully at the end of this weekend i got all the bugs worked out of the car and then i make it pretty.
the 280ZXs wiring makes no sense!!! I've gone through and tried to solder every connection in the EFI harness that I could find or have made yet it started acting goofy and then I tapped the wiring harness and bam everything was good again. When it's warmer out I'll have to go through and do the beep test like Ratfink mentioned. Now that I actually have a multimeter that beeps for continuity.
