the talon ones are strong but first gear is gone, probably bent the forks cause there really is no 1st gear haha. but i got a tranny for it so yup! and as for pics.... its dark and late and im lazy, you'll have to wait till tomorrow and only of the outside i need to work on the interior and engine bay once thats done i'll get pics of it, probably wont be long

i am pissed about 2 things, one the pass window doesnt seem to work, not sure why yet, no big deal till summer comes along, 2 it smells like fumes real quick inside so i'll be ****in around trying to seal air leaks oh and 3 the battery is old and corroded. so new battery and wires will be instore for it

I just pulled the the L28ET from my spare 280zxt!!! Man... it needs to be torn down and cleaned. The coolant smelled like vinegar because it's 99% water that has been sitting for 5 years.

oh nice. well, one step down that i know works wonders is the powder stuff they sell at most auto stores. it took a LOT of stuff out of my honda. that car had such dirty passages that when i got it, the antifreeze was orange. weird. after i flushed it, it stayed clean until i sold it.

idk what the **** your smoking. lol i don't pay attention to the products we sell. i just spent 60 bucks today, the DSM started missing like crazy in the high RPMS so i was like, FFFFFUUUUUCCCCKKKK time to do a compression check, as im pulling the wires out the boots start ripping apart, the plugs were bosch and sucked there was no electrode and one was no gapped, lol like literally there was NO GAP. got stock NGK's new plug wires new valve cover gasket set since the current one was leaking, new oil and oil filter cause there was a fram on it and the oil was looking a BIT dirty nothing gross though. runs GREAT now, so much better night and day. found out the and brake cables are snapped at the calipers so its the drivers side rear caliper that is seized itself, i broke the ****ing lug nut key in half trying to take off the lug nuts, any ideas on what to do for that? its the kind that the key goes INSIDE the lug nut not around it. and didn't even touch anything else like i was planing i was just to pissed off about the lug nut key. tooo pissed.... also the tranny had a snapped bell housing so now when i get the current trans out i gotta break it in half and swap castings. also there's 2 broken studs in the head for the exhaust manifold which explains for the most part where my minor exhaust leak is coming from, has a metal gasket though so at least it isn't blown. this guy bought a lot of tasteful mods, but didn't maintain them to great, not like he didn't take car of the car, he just lacks taste in life styles haha. if that makes sense.

well if those are all the problems you run in to, you are doing ok. pb blaster on the lugnut? so you got a new tranny with no bell housing? why do you have to break the old one in half?

it has a bellhousing its just shattered. so i gotta swap the good bell housing from the bad tranny on the good tranny with the bad housing. should be fun cause i technically have to break the trannies in half they are like the stock S30/S130na trannies. oh well.... also, i found out a 3/8" drive extension fits in the lug nuts perfectly! i was sooo relieved so tomorrow when i get new lug nuts in i'll be swapping those out and seeing if i can salvage the caliper or if i'll have to get another one for 50 bucks at work. also, here's some pics. its a bit dirty from working on it the other day i got my oil covered fingers all over it haha.

psyche!! bought this instead for $2500 the body was completely restored with ZERO rust and flared 1" aftermarket steel fenders, motor has 6k miles, 280z suspension all the way around, under carriage liberally coated with protection all that needs left is a paint job and to fix up the interior a little.

dont be jealous because i am going to go fast first for a lot less money and have a nicer more respectable car that wont get profiled every day from the cops and the fast and the furious crowd...

cops arent going to profile a talon over a S30 with a v8 anyday, they will get equal attention if not a noisey v8 S30 will get more than a whit talon. also, i got my car for less and is probably close to same speed, theoretically what you said should be true, but i got this talon for a steal mods considering, neglecting the mods though i over paid imho haha, so it neutrals out. once i get the rear caliper fixed and swap trannies then it will be worth it once again and then some! and getting profiled by the F&F crowd is good, means my car will maintain value better in a more mass public way, the Z should be more valuable but only appeals to a small market which is its only downfall.
