i saw someone asking $16,000 for a 280. it was fully restored, a few years back. WAY high of course. i'm sure it didn't sell until that number was cut in half. it really wasn't even the best restoration that it could have had. i think it even had a piece of rust showing. and it was f-ing brown. the whole car i mean
that kind of reminds me of this "82 280zx engine and transmission" with SU carbs on it and no mension of auto manual or how many speeds if it is manual here for the low low price of $550:

Go with an S30 for my L28ET or find myself a good S130 body to swap my L28ET into?
After the Z Car Nationals last week, there were so few 280ZXs in comparison to everything else and it made me kind of want to go the 280ZX route, but at the same time I still want to go the S30 route for my turbo motor. Any suggestions?

Ah see I basically meant that the 280ZXT I have now is going to become the engine donor as the body is alright, but would need alot of work. So I'm trying to decide between finding myself another S130 body in good shape or an S30 body. It's a touch choice as I love both. I love the styling of the S30 a bit more, but there are alot of things I just love about the S130.
...... honestly, if your going to go through the trouble of pulling this motor to stick it in another Z get an S30 and sell your 2+2 and just find another S130 for daily then you have the best of both worlds.
I've had the 2+2 listed for sale. I've had a couple of people interested, but they all just sort of disappear. That's not a bad idea though. Get an S30 for my Turbo swap, and then either find myself another 280ZXT or maybe go with an N/A as it gets better gas mileage.
I wonder if I should just list the 2+2 on ebay?
