My cat Bubba died today from Chronic Renal Failure (kidney failure) at the age of 14.

He was diagnosed with the disease back in April. I had been giving him this treatment known as Sub-Q fluid injections. They worked great for awhile...but his condition worsened Wednesday and he never recovered.

He was a great pet and friend and will be missed.....

NOOOO!!!! i know i would be dead if my kiki died. your kitty is like mine. i got him just a year or two ago and will have him till im like 30 almost. must be hard. at least he had for the most part a full life of 14

 

my cat was 19, and alas, the kidney failure got him too, last year fer me, sucks loosing a best bud, even if he were fluffy

 

hay.........dont knock fluffy buddies------mine is big enuff to be able to scare you!!!!!! best pals in life can be critters....they gots the personalities........

Awe, I'm so sorry about Bubba! He was a real trooper for fighting his battle with the renal disease this long, and I'm sure he couldn't have chosen a better daddy if he'd had the option. Bubba will be missed, but always know that you're in his heart and memories, just as he is in yours. He's in a better place now ... no more pain and suffering ... and I feel that God took him for that reason. Bubba just might be chasing some felines in heaven right now.

 

Thanks Barbie.....thats an awesome post. Bubba would appreciate it! And thanks to everyone else for their sympathy....and I know alot of folks have been through the same thing and know how hard it can be to lose a pet/family member....
