I think my next vehicle....

I think when I get rid of my two other ZX's I will start saving to get me a nice truck....and what is cooler than one of these.....

They all say they come with a 2.4L I4cyl.....is this the same as is in the 240sx's, if so, they can be turboed right? They call it an RB right?

The 240sx motor is a KA24E / KA24DE. An RB motor is RB20 / RB25DET / RB25DETT / RB26DETT ... which were Skyline motors.

a 2wd Frontier...

The RB is a straight six!!!
The Hardbody (1990-97) is the throttle body injection KA24e. The 1989-90 240SX has the multi port fuel injection. You really need the 240SX intake manifold and wiring to even start to think about turboing it. But why. Just have one reliable vehicle.

I'm getting a Frontier. KA24DE

Damn...I was a little mixed up on my engine codes. As for the 2 wheel drive Frontier....nah, I think the King-Cab 4x4's look way better, especially if they have 31" tires. I like a low car and a truck that sits like the Frontier does in those pics...I do have a reliable car...my 280zx Turbo I do think a Turbo 4x4 would be cool though.

Personally, I never really liked any make of truck until Nissan decided to make the Titan.
That's one bad *** looking truck!

the only thing good about those old frontiers are people low riding them. not a huge fan of it but hey everyone has a hobby. ka is a good motor. huge discussion between a ka and sr. sr when turboed some come turbo will make more hp. ITS A TRUCK rember not something u can go taking sharp corners and what not. just done expect to be hauling to much crap in that truck

1998-2004 is 'old' ??
Hardly older than those old 350Z's. I want a 4-cyl Frontier for a small truck to haul building materials and for a fairly ecinomical daily driver. I don't care about turbos or lowering it. As for a toy truck, I love the Datsun 620.

In my opinion, any new truck, that was a small size before. That they made medium or full size is crap. I can't stand trucks, that once were small, and now are large and ugly. I want another small truck, but like I had before. Or nothing newer than late '80's. I loved my '82 Datsun, that truck was tough, economical and durable. I still kick myself, for destroying it when I was 19. I might have still had it to this day. Oh well you live and learn I guess. sigh
