I was in an accident with a ditch last night, and my father will no longer let me drive his truck. I need a vehicle to get back and forth to work and to school. My only option is to get the Z driving asap. The problem is that the motor keeps leaking water into the 4th cylinder. My friend's dad said that it could be a number of things that causes it to leak, such as water coming in through the intake, unproperly torqued head, bad gasket, unclean block, etc. I recently had the head shaved, and it's still leaking. What all could it be? Could the bolts be stretched to the point that they improperly torque down? What's the torque settings for the head bolts? Anyone else have any ideas?

 

the dad was right it could be many different things. when the head was shaved did they check for cracks? did you torque the bolts in the proper order and tight enough? did it leak water before the head shave?it won't be a super quick fix unless you have a good amount of extra time and possibly money too
