If I'm not mistaken, Calif. has a coast line almost half as long as the whole eastern seaboard.

I installed the DOOLZ intake today. I must say that if the front fascia was on the car, I don't think I could've gotten it in. I have serious doubts. I think it'll get in the way of the front fascia. We'll see. I also got the front sway bar with the solid endlinks in. All-in-all, not too difficult. I've got all of the wires run for the gauges and boost controller. When I turned on the lights, all of the gauges lit up except the boost gauge. Directions didn't tell me I had to ground the case. Had to tear all of that out to splice in a ground wire. Oh well, it all works now.

I ordered some red aluminum hose clamps and more vacuum hose from paragon performance. The shipped me the wrong hose. I ordered 20 feet of 3mm and 6 mm hose. They sent me 3mm and 4mm. Joy!

Next weekend, weather pemitting, I'll be painting various brackets in the engine compartment to match the rest of the color scheme. I'm also looking into having "Twin Turbo" engraved into the upper plenum instead of reattaching the "Twin Turbo" badge. I'll have the engraving filled in with Red. Should look slick. I also need to have the TB's and throttle linkage pollished. I just don't have the time to do it myself.

What a PITA..... Anyone know of where I can go to find a vacuum hose diagram?

Either that, or can someone with a TT post a couple clear pictures of both sides of the engine. Show as many of the vacuum hoses as you can. While you're at it, can you remove the plenum cover and take a picture showing how the wiring harness sits in there.

Another thing,...Since I removed the AIV, can I remove the AIV solenoid? I believe it sits next to the EGR solenoid by the battery. If it is the one I think it is, then it's the one closest to the battery.

I'm just about done running the vacuum lines for the boost controller. Hopefully will get that all wrapped up this weekend.

Thanks. That'll help. I found a diagram in the FSM, but it's a bit difficult to see. I also found the EFI harness diagram; which will help also. Does anyone have the diagram for the EFI harness on the ECU. I mean the one that tells what each wire goes to? Many of the connectors are the same, so I need to make sure that I'm putting the right connector to the right sensor.

Thanks guys. I was in Omaha, Nebraska for a couple days this week, so I had plenty of time on the plane to study the FSM vacuum diagram. It looks like I can get rid of the AIV solenoid and the passenger side vacuum gallery, which shouild clean up the engine compartment a bit. I should have some time this weekend to do quite a bit of work since it's supposed to rain.

I can't believe how much hose I had to run for the boost controller. Looks like red spaghetti. I had to modify the front bumper and the oil cooler bracket so that the DOOLZ would fit. I expanded the factory clock opening so that the BC will fit there. All of the wires are run. The plenum could maybe go on this weekend.

Here's more.

I need to finish the boost controller mount. It's still a bit rough. Anyone know of a glue or paste that I can use as filler around the BC? It doesn't necessarily have to be black because I can use that vinyl.plastic paint afterwards.

It's getting there. I'm starting to get nervous to turn the key again.

Awesome job. Was it a PITA to wire the BC?

new boost controller, new dual intake, new this, new that.....

same old worn out oem shift ****....

keep up the good work.
i'm hoping that when the engine/performance enhancements are finished, you'll move on to the interior and "upgrade" that.
