Welcome to ZDriver!

Not sure why you posted this in the CLASSIFIEDS section, so I'll move it to the Z32 area.

Also, you should read this: https://www.zdriver.com/forums/300zx-z32-tech-tips-273/how-make-n-faster-swap-mass-merge-thread-658/

bahaha, yeah pretty much. Im just going for the swap. I wanna be able to get at least 400hp out of the ZX and from what i read the compression of the VG30DE is too high for those kinda of numbers.

You could always go supercharged, not the easiest conversion and you'll would have to fab up all of the mounts yourself, but i think it would be pretty easy to mount it where the A/C compressor is.

Why the hell would you rebuild an NA motor rather than swap in a TT? The TT will always be faster, dollar for dollar; it's a huge waste to do otherwise.

Perhaps he is, but anyone with half a brain doesnt need to deal with his BS attitude. I'm sure he's the biggest tool in any garage.

You'd be cross to if you had to deal with people like yourself every time you log onto a thread full of stupid.

Now I know why everyone goes to TT.net! No BS there

My "nice" ran out back around 2004, or so, I think... you can thank answering dumb questions (much like this one) on 300ZXClub.com for most of its erosion.

And don't worry about me... the benefit of being an elitist is knowing that, regardless of what anyone says about me, I'm better than them. lol

To the OP: dont let these guys tell ya what you can and cant do. Most of them dont have the experience. Anything is possible. We are currently building a stock longblock vg30de single turbo.
And to zlover: just the simple fact of you stating that the OP's question was a dumb question just reinforces the lack of individuality/knowledge that you possess. Yes, you may know (which I severly doubt) everything there is to know about OEM parts on a Z, but you lack the competency in order to step outsdie the box...

Will you shut the **** up and go crawl back in whatever damned hole you crawled your sorry *** out of?

Geez your more annoying then pontiackid....

Anyways YES It can be done but other then being different its a total waste and will require worlds more time and effort to fabricate all the needed parts and to rebuild the engine with stronger internals

http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=181929

Its been done before and with a TT long block so it wont toss itself apart.

P.S. There's nothing new about wanting to single-turbo a Z32. Any kid who saw The Fast and the Furious and discovered high-horsepower single-turbo I6 Supras has wanted to do the same.
