WreckedJ30's Z31T ecu conversion

So today Wrecked cruised on down to my place & we converted his 280zxt to the Z31T ecu & MAF. The whole thing took wha... 3.5 hours, eh Gavin? In the mother f*cking freezing cold! That Z pulls pretty hard for stock boost. Not too shab!

PS... there is a man-hunt for Nismo619 as he has disappeared w/ Wrecked's money for a Z31T ecu...

Sounds like fun, I just ordered my Z31 MAF, ECU, and 240sx TB last week. What kinda gains we looking at? Maybe a how-to? Problem areas?

I never liked him, his spelling was horinbable. GET YOUR MONEY BACK!

Nice swap though, I wouldn't mind seeing some differences if it would be track times or a dyno.

You'll also need the VG30 crank angle sensor chopper wheel... just mentioning that since you didn't. I'm not sure on new hp after the swap... the Z31T was rated @ 200hp, but is a 3.0L engine as well. Maybe 10-15hp on a stock setup??? I did my swap when my AFM was crapping out, so I really felt a difference. I'll be dyno'ing in the spring, so we'll see then.

Lookin good Wrecked. How far away do you live from Nismo? Must be nice to have other Zdrivers that live within driving disatance.

45$ its not too bad, but still i thought i could trust a homie and get screwed for it. I live wayy too far from him, but not after i move back to cali. Sorry for taking so long but i have some drama to share. You no that bitch that screwed me over, nismo, and maybe a few from chat. Well there was a bon fire tonight and he was mad staring, so i said you got a prob. he said yeah, so i walked up and hit the bitch. He leaned over and i kneed him, he fell over and i took a step back awaiting something he did nothing, it was sick. On the bad side i got arrested, its gonna suck on probation...anyways on a good note, all my friends were there and are siding w/me...oh and i ripped out his earing and chucked it back at him...man it was sick. End of drama, and i'm leaving before christmas so i'm not gonna get ****...hahahahahha

yeah everyone was like run, i was like pff, i'll stay and stare at the biznitch i just whooped on, he looked like he was gonna cry, beat on by a 17 year old. He's like 19. And i knee'd him, in the mouth..And yes very dedicated, and the cop that arrested me, was the same one that sold me the car, he was like that punk deserved it. I was all smiles today. Beat on a biznitch and did a ecu swap, and drove 200 miles..nice, for a days work. i don't think theres a big enough smile to fit me.

yeah, this is my last week, then i'm leaving before they put me on probation. Yes he looked like he was crying it was the ****..Now any questions on this swap. Its fairly easy and even easier if you get nismo to do it....i'll be 18 in july. I speent like way to much on it, cause i had to buy the ecu twice. plus i bought the whole distributor, unstead of just a little aluminum wheel. The total swap costed 195, minus 45 if i ever get it back.

no its true, not the 81 cause it has the cas, or some crap. Shady, how long does shipping take? i'm staying for at least a week, gotta finish school, i'll leave as soon as the weather looks good after that. Nismo want ta kick it before i go, i gotta try out your beast. And 619 stopped by then disappeared before i came back, any one like to hunt.

You use the 82 or 83 ZX turbo dizzy with the Z31 chopper wheel.

Congrats on the swap. It's always nice to get rid of that POS AFM.

yeah it's way more responsive, lost the bulky wieght, and looks a 100x better. Plus it fixed my problem with the car dieing all the time. Now i don't have to worry as mush, uncept for the radiator hose nismo blew up..

Hehe... hopefully it wasn't my driving that caused the leak! Did you pinpoint it yet? I think you had narrowed it to the lower rad hose?

yeah our store up here sucks, he has to order it and what not, plus he's closed on weekends. oh and what a pain, putting on the power steering pulley, and now the belt doesn't fit, which really sucks. another 15$ waisted.
