How much is a never used t5 worth?

So I picked up an immaculate condition unused t5 from a school that used it in a lab class. I need to run through it to make sure everything is there and installed right but that should be pretty simple. As I have no use for this transmission I'm now wondering what the going price is on here?

For reference the transmission is from an 83 280zx

Thanks in advance!

Well, it's not a listing yet.. Just inquiring of typical value? I'd be glad to post pictures if more interest is expressed however.

OK, go to car-part.com, enter the correct info - and see a list of the used trannys available for that model. If yours is 'unused,' add that to your price. Otherwise, it's a buyer's market. The part is 'typically' worth what somebody else is willing to pay for it when you offer it for sale, I guess.

There's only 3 or 4 no mileage listed transmissions there haha. Oh well I guess I'll just compile some pictures and see what people offer. Thanks for the help=)

Like I stated previously I need to run everything over to make sure nothing is out of place as it was used in a high school lab. That being said as soon as that's done with I'd be willing to sell it. I don't know what I'll set as a price as of yet as I'm not entirely sure what it's worth. And shipping wouldn't be an issue.

w00t! Another Utah local!

It really depends on who wants / needs it. There are some who swear by the BW T5, and others who despise it. They usually go for $100-$400 used.

Always cool to meet fellow Utah auto enthusiasts=) Better not mention I don't typically drive Nissans though haha. My friend built a Z with a turbocharge Buick v6, and it definitely gave me great appreciation for the cars though.

They seem to handle pretty good power with gears that are more straight cut. Sadly a bit expensive if you go that route however:P
Thanks for the info! Hopefully I can fetch something reasonable for it in the end.
