We would need some more information on it. It could be timing, or a fuel, air, or spark problem. When mine didn't start, after running on starter fluid for few seconds. It turned out to be my timing. I was off just one tooth. And it wouldn't stay running.

So you did a Turbo conversion? Then it could be many things. I am sorry I can't help you there. You will need Turbo gurus, to help you out. Good luck man.

Just the distributor? Make sure you have it securely in place. You may not have it on the shaft enough. You can only put it on one way. It has a notch in it. Do a test, and take the cap off. And see if the rotor spins. If it doesn't, that means your distributor, is not all the way on.

Oh, I overlooked something in your first post. Yeah I bet you have the timing off on the engine itself. I'm afraid you might have to take the timing cover back off. I did a writeup in another thread, if it will help you. Good luck man. Sorry for overlooking your post.
