The Z24 and KA24 have the same engine lean and bolt pattern on the back of the block.
The L-series has the same bolt pattern but leans the opposite way.

I heard someone say they used a CA style transmission on a KA24e. Does anyone have any experience in this? Are they also the same...

If you had any clue as to the answer to my question then you wouldn't be asking THAT question. Just keep quiet for once

Best bet would be to ask the 240 guys on nico CA section. IIRC the length of the tranny was different, but I can't quite recall as it was years ago that I read it.

i imagine if it just leans the other way they either worked arround it or found a middle ground to lean the engine the oppisite way to get them both kinda straight.

it kinda depends on how far it goes one way though, its a "i would have to see it" to figure it out thing
