Nissan transmissions - CA KA Z L
The Z24 and KA24 have the same engine lean and bolt pattern on the back of the block.
The L-series has the same bolt pattern but leans the opposite way. I heard someone say they used a CA style transmission on a KA24e. Does anyone have any experience in this? Are they also the same... |

Best bet would be to ask the 240 guys on nico CA section. IIRC the length of the tranny was different, but I can't quite recall as it was years ago that I read it.

i imagine if it just leans the other way they either worked arround it or found a middle ground to lean the engine the oppisite way to get them both kinda straight.
it kinda depends on how far it goes one way though, its a "i would have to see it" to figure it out thing |
