Well its a good unit, but depending on where you live it could really turn in to a problem. Jammers a great for metropolitan areas where there is always traffic of some sort around you. But in a rural situation where you may be the only car on the road and you jam a cops gun, its a dead give away and in most states can get you in big trouble. I dont know the laws on jammers exactly, but most states and FCC laws make jammers of any kind illegal. check out your local law before buying that one

Hell, I didn't see Florida on that list, Looks like a nice piece to have in your car if you've got a tendency to speed. I'm thinking I could use one, thanks for the link
Edit: Well hey, they seem to have a bunch of fun stuff there that would make the Reno PD go nuts Glad that stuff is legal here.

I live and drive mostly where they is a decent amount of cars, i dont plan to start speeding alot, i just like to know when cops are watching me. Id use that mostly when i take trips on the highway or i make trips into the citry. Cops around here are pretty stupid

So True! Kids... save your pennies & buy a real radar detector. I've tested many, and the only one that's really gunna HELP save you *** is a Valentine 1. Yes, it is $250 - $400... but you get what you pay for.
Let me remind you all that no radar detector is fool proof. You can still get busted by instant on or laser when you're singled out on the road.

the valentine1 is the best i've ever used. i drove non stop from san diego to seattle at 3 digit speeds quite a bit of the way. got to borrow a valentine, and it saved my *** left and right. way better than the bel express i own.

I've got a Valentine 1 also and can vouch for its utility. Though I think I'm finding in my "old age" that I'm not really speeding much anymore in any of my cars. I'm averaging a lowly 75mph these days! O_o
