I was looking for a version 1.8 Valentine 1 Radar Detector...i looked on ebay and they are going for like 300-400 dollars..DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I COULD FIND IT CHEAPIER !?!?!?!?!

Possibly you could buy the Passport?..It's about the same range except it just doesn't have the directional. My friend has one and the directions false alarm half the time. I have had experience with the Passport. It saved me when I was goin 95 down the 50mph freeway..it started going crazy :dancing:

 

do u have the passport 8500? i also heard that it was just as good...but i didnt hear that the directional arrows were false on the valentine... and if it is the 8500, do u suggest any cheap place to get it.?

 

you cannot find it for cheaper than that, unless u find a used one (i wouldnt trust a used one). i bought mine from valentine one. i highly recommend the valentine or the k40. i have the valentine and a friend of mine has the k40. a few of my friends have cheaper ones and they work, but u never know when they wont.

 

I drove from San Diego to Seattle a little while ago with the V1, and those arrows are really worth it. Lets just say I was a healthy margin north of the posted the whole way up
