Yeah those were the good days on this site. The first 3 years were awesome. There are a few members here, who are pretty cool though.

 

DO NOT SETTLE FOR A MAZDA MX-3 1.6L WITH AN AUTO TRANNY. This is the worst car I have EVER had.

i called it guys he is a liar and to knock on zarchy is just bull $hit. so just so you all know zarchy has great products and jet lag is a liar!!!

 

5 Years of dealing with this computer... FIVE YEARS!!! Finally it is fixed. A $50 part has kept my computer from working right for all this time. If none of you can recall my computer issues way back in the day I won't be offended. My computer used to not turn back on after a restart or start from a complete power off state... it started at like a few minutes... then a half hour and later and later until it would be a full day before I could turn it back on. When it first happened I replaced the PSU and it was fixed... this was five years ago. A few months later I did a new build (current computer) with my brothers hand-me-downs. Not too long after the build it started messing up, gradually getting worse over the years. Well, today I decided to pull everything out of my case, inspect, clean and dust all parts. Everything looked fine.

I took my PSU to a computer repair shop after doing some reading about power supply failures and PSU fan failures, heat issues and other stuff. They tested it and he said it was beyond bad but looked like it put up a good fight. I upgraded to a 550w PSU and surprise surprise surprise, my computer turns on and off like a normal computer... no more waiting, no more crying naked in the corner of the room cursing my computer for all my bad luck in life... like selling 3 damn 280zx's!!! Know this now... the next Z of whatever kind I get will not leave my possession unless completely wrecked or burned!!!! I have driven many cars since I sold my Z's... nothing feels like a damn Z... Why did I sell them???? Hind sight... The next one will be with me for a long long time.

So... How the hell is everyone?

 

I have a motherboard issue that comes and goes, really irritating. Other than that I'm really good!!!

 

Hopefully this means you'll be around here more often!!!

 

Welcome back thxone. I am doing well, been working at a new job. And been driving my Z since November. I am going to hold you too what you said. That you wont ever get rid of your Z. When you get another one.

 

Thanks guys... yeah I have been chillin here in NC for a good long while now, was working at an Sears Outlet store... it was fine for a bit but the management there needs to have their brains looked at for sure. They knocked me down to 13 hours one week, 8 the next and when they fired one guy they tried to be nice to me and give me like 20 hours the next week. I told them if they couldn't give me at least 32 hours that I had to move on... they said "you are fired". So now I work at AutoZone.

I was driving my Jeep for a while then sold it to my sisters ex boyfriend who is now driving it and I bought a Mazda MX-3 to hold me over... then the tranny messed up so now I am borrowing a friends 50cc scooter until I can fix the car. Once the car is fixed I am buying a 280zx or a Z32, no if's ands or but's. I am so sick of not having a decent car... this is my punishment for selling the one's I had I suppose. There is a 280zx 2+2 sitting at a car lot here and it has like 80,000+ miles on it and he wants $1,500 for it... it's an auto but he is letting it start to rust in spots... so sad.

On a few good notes, I am still with my girlfriend and I recently upgraded my cell phone to the Htc EVO Shift... such a nice little phone... it may weigh like 12lbs but I love the Android OS and all the apps available for it... Yes, I am addicted to the Angry Birds.

 

I miss driving my Z, my fiero ain't got half the power the L28E has, and it's the same freakin size, even same base power rating(hp). I will give it this, the lil basterd can hold a curve good. and the 3800SC engine goes in next month, so not to many complaints. Since i'm the proud new owner of a MIG welder, the Z should get rust fix soon.

UGHHHHHHH I keep missing out on great deals!! A guy has a T-top 1981 280zx 5-speed in near perfect shape for $850!! Original Copper paint, 156,XXX miles, A/C, 2 seater, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN... he is the third owner and said it has been garaged for the last 5 or 6 years and he takes it around the block once a week to keep things in working order... he said he doesn't have room for it. I hate being broke!

The guy is going to work with ME!!!! My brother is sending me $200, I am selling my DVD collection for $200, though not sold yet and I am getting paid in a week so hopefully another $200 to the guy!!! I am so excited my ********* are tingling!!!!

It's a cherry of a car in my opinion... I found out the floor pan on the passengers side is the only issue from a faulty heater core but he says it is just surface rust. NO PROBLEM!! Even if it goes all the way through I can replace the floor pan quickly! I wanna go have sex with my girlfriend I am so excited.

Yeah and I just called the guy again and even though its not listed anymore he said someone is coming to look at it... WTF!!!! But he is going to call me to let me know what happens. I made the deal with him, he agreed and he is letting someone come look at it. I am trying to be calm.
