I bought it for $1,000 with perfect A/C and Heat... It was a 4x4 but a trip to the Tampa Bay area and back blew the transfer case because when the PO put the 4.56:1 gear in the rear and he left the front stock... two holes and a busted T-case chain later and I have no mo fo wheel drive... for now. Gonna add another half an inch to the lift with a new lift kit, a proper lift kit to make 4.5 inches and add 32" mud tires... hopefully when I get another ZX I can park her safely under my Jeep. Then they can make lil inline six's.

So, I got 2K to spend on a new car. One that don't need any work done, ready to drive. I've been on the hunt for over a month, E-bay classifieds, Craigslist, E-Bay. You name it. My search included only 3 brands, Any Datsun, BMW 5 series, or Pontiac Fiero GT 86-88.
No Datsun's, One BMW & series(sold before i could get to it) and one Fiero GT(87) search radius, 500 miles. Now i'm staying at eco lodge, 420 miles into my road trip. going to inspect my potinal new 87 Fiero GT Fastback, Silver color. Ive owned a 85 GT, so im not new to these. The reason? Cause i got a nice budget for my 83 to get restored, so something fun to drive while i spend a year doing it. i'll post pics tomorrow. CarFax!!!!!!

The deals are out there, but like you said, ya gotta be watching. I check my local classifieds probably 20 times a day for car stuff & camera stuff.

 

found it on craigs list, long search seeing how you can only see small area's at a time. so far i've seen two datsun's on the way up. tried to buy the 78 280, too high for me though, will post pic's on both of them as well

I've already locked in a T5, T5 2+2 driveshaft, Big letter NISSAN valve cover, good turbo, manifold, LD28 intake, and am putting together the F54 with dished pistons when i get home. now to just get head ported to match the huge runners of the LD28 intake. also the new injector placement will be around 4 inches away from head. looking for max Atomization i can get.
