FYI... if you design your IC setup correctly, you don't need to worry about your IC "not cooling enough".

Still collecting parts, I have the block machined and I ported the heads/manifolds. I am going to have the cams custom ground by comp cams, I need to make a set of tall valve covers to clear the adjustable rockers, I need to assemble my solid lifters, need to figure out which size valves and hardware I want to run, I still need to send the rotating assembly to be clearances, lightened and balanced, I need to lighten up my vh45 pistons and I need to call clevite to order some bearings. Then I can start putting it together.

 

My new years resolution, is to tell everyone here to shut the hell up!!!! And talk intelligent. lol.

nice you should do a write up on it. and also have you thought of an idea for the oil pump? you going with the vg33's or the TT oil pump?

 

'll probably make a build thread when I am done building it, and I haven't decided on the oil pump yet, but it seems easier to machine the block then machining the crank at this point.
