lol, i was legitimately concerned about that today, i watched that temp guage like a hawk! never made it to the red, probably only about 210 degrees. it did however get some coolant on the MAF so it wasnt happy about that near the end.

 

i just took it on the highway. 30 mile drive. 6 windy back roads, rest highway. Much smoother. more power. and more MPG. i do recomend the Z31 coil for a budget upgrade.

 

all i have to do on my car to make it reliable and drivable is change the oil.

(also might be going twin screw on the sbc 240z!!!!)

and yeah that R/C plane routine has been tossed around ALOT. if i had a slow flying 3D plane, i could do that, lol but i just mess with my giant scale one and my fast biplane electric one, was getting good but also to comfortable at touching the ground during some stunts (little tail or tip strikes just cause they are impressive) and once had a little much drag on the tip and nosed it in, oh well.... its only foam. was going to glue it back together but figured i had done that enough and might just go get a new body for the setup i got. we shall see....



and i gues i never thought of alaska, but there shouldnt be that many people in a single town in that state lol. maybe thats their states fair haha

ahhh... changed the head gasket there was a BIG chunk of gasket missing from between the number 3 and 4 cylinder and hit a coolant passage so thats where that was coming from and no compression, also though, my number 3 cylinder right above the rings got tore up some, probably some bad detonation, looks like its been that way a while though so i should be back to 150 psi across the board, but that one piston is scary, and will be a problem in about 10k or less so the talon will be for sale very shortly, and after this fiasco, im pretty damn confident i will be getting another Z. also, i might pick up a datsun 1600 roadster.
