A/F gauge is worthless (I think) if you're running any OEM ecu
The NA 280ZX has all the necessary gauges.

True. I can't set my clock, or make the little track time deal work, so it's pretty useless.

It's a speedo out of a 79' 280ZX. Note it has 5 digits instead of 6. Hence why's it's at 0. I believe cruise control also does not work with the 79 speedos?

What he said and I got it on eBay. My old one would just spin when driving down the road, it was pretty cool but I had to replace it.

It does when you swap speed sensors (the 79 speed sensor isn't compatible w/ the 80-89). Now my MAF does the burn off cycle on it's own now too...

Why? It's really easy to swap speedometers, no need for an entire car. haha

Dunno 79 just seems better to me lol Even tho I think the 82-83 Were technically the best.

When I find them I usually ask around $50. I put one on eBay and got more though

There is an entire cluster with the 130 speedo for around 120, might be worth it, and alot easier then just changing out the speedo.

What I meant is that I sell the entire cluster for $50 which includes a 130mph speedo

$100 or more is way too much for one of those clusters

Do you have to do anything to the the short side of the cable (firewall to gauge) to mate up to the Autometer gauge? I remember reading something about someone having to use a Camaro end to make it work.

the stock 240z speedo worked with the GM speedo cable and the autometer works with it too, i remember putting am s30 speedo and tach into the dash of my s130 years ago and they still worked.

not completely useless, if some one was running a turbo on NA hardware it would be handy.

lol, Ive been hacking up the stock s30 harness for wiring connectors and random bits of wire, so far the only stock wiring is the tail light harness, which is staying, because it would be a huge PITA to remove and build from scratch.
