Hey! I like my firechicken. And the bike is surprisingly comfortable to ride, I was worried too, but not bad, no longer a canyon carver, but it handles well enough for the street around town. The firebird is getting 97 sbc vortech heads and a flat tappet cam from comp cams and It will be good to go.

you also forgot the fanclutch and water pump and oil pump. you forgot alot
and he says its on the wrong side because there was a pull through carb setup made back in the day where they just mounted teh SC on the intake manifold and a 4bbl carb ontop of it
and as for the CBR i like it as a street fighter BUT i think you should restore the tail cowl and seat to original. go on a honda forum might find someone parting their plastics from a crash or from turning theirs into a track bike

l28 beauty, and the water pumps there, just not really pretty
and i saw those SC's before but didnt know they were from back in the day

LOL I don't think so. I had an fz6 for awhile. I like this one much better. And I tried to get the front wheel up but it wouldn't go, think its to stiff in the rear. Sick bike. Absolutely sick.
