true story there. i should re-phrase my last statement to not say "you can't believe anything that any politician says. which is the way that it really is", but to say, "not everything that a politician claims will happen." i guess.

about what i just said? i was re-phrasing what he said... that a politician can try, but checks and balances often stops it... therefore, not everything that they say happens. if he's mad about that he has reading comprehension problems

Check into it. The top 5% is $160,000 and above - not alot of $ in today world. $250,000 is the # obama uses and he wants people to believe it's $250k and above. He is misleading many.

Oh by the way, Marxism is socialism. Both Karl Marx and Friedrich Engles
(1820-95) writings are the basis for socialism and communism.

you can either believe it all, and believe that they all mean what they say and they aim well, or you can't believe any of it. how could you choose who is telling the truth and who is lying? if your figure is right, and his is wrong, then the one that he would go with would be the one that says people making above $250K. even if it did bring it down to the top 4 or 5%. because if he said that everyone making below $250 would get a cut, and their taxes actually went up.... i think it would be pretty bad for him. but, i'm betting that yours is wrong

lol marxism and socialism have similare standards except one key feature, its ignorant to make claims if u cant back it up.

and no middle class doesnt get a cut it just doesnt get a raise and now theres two sides to the story im about to bring up. the lower class gets a tax cut, but when it came down to inner city single mothers or lower class families trying to just survive in acceptable conditions and your going to bitch about that, your a sick ****. however.... theres the jerk off's out there that cant hold a job cause they screw off and didnt give a **** about education nor anything else. now the deciding factor is, how long can you really live with that mind set before the real world kicks in and you realized how horrible your life is, sure the bad *** guys or gang members and whatever you want to call them but when was the last time you saw someone over the age 30 or 35 like that? its a early 20's and teenager thing that most of them are living at home with mom anyways so its hard to even include them in the equation. also, its a pretty nominal raise for the wealthy people, and another key aspect for that is to keep the truly wealthy from tax evasion and all the other shady dealings they do to just keep more money. and once again, where in socialism communism or Marxism whatever you want to claim this is, where it says they put a balance on taxation, its all about wage control nothing else so quite whining about YOUR unaffected taxes just cause there was an idea. boohooo!!!!!!!!

OK, lets back it up with facts. Click the web address listed below and you will see a graph that breaks out income groups. Check out the chart then tell us what the income level is for the top 5%.

To save you time I will tell you again - IT IS $160,000 (approx.).

Snow, I think Obama is a Marxist. Not just because of his raising taxes but because he wants the governmant to be bigger and more powerful by taaking away from thoose that have it and giving it to the ones that do not. Where is the incentive to be sucessful?

I'm all for helping people in need, it seems that my definition of people in need is different than yours. There are millions of people out there that are not young and not living with their mommy and are capable of working and they are not. They are living off the success of others.

If you think I made changes - do the research yourself. You will find I am correct and you may learn something in the mean time.

the incentive to be sucessful is that it will be easier for people to hold a minimum wage job. so, more people working, better economy... less bankruptcy and the like

where did you hear that? once again, i was here and a person functioning and learning politics when obama was in the illinois senate, he only cared for the people especially in chicago and always tried to bring them together for a good cause and has done alot with his life, non which would EVER lead me to EVER beleive he would want to take power from the people. i think you need to do some research and not political garbage the reps feed you. how are people so short sided and have a single track mind, its like you dont care what anyone is saying your just a die hard republican for i dont even know what reason.

also, Palin.... seriously? give me one good aspect about that retard OTHER than the fact she is bangable. McCain and palin are the ones that want to take away power from the people, at least women anyways and science. lol. she's a creationist bitch follows the bible word for word apparently McCain doesnt seem to far behind and is all making sure no woman has a choice in abortion or not. not that its my choice either, but it should always be a womans choice unless you want rape victims to carry that child.... kinda like a big breathing reminder of the worst moment in your life that your forced to love. COOL!!!!!!!

also you speak of the older people taking from us not working. how do you figure? you mean how our taxes and volunteers support soup kitchens for the homeless? yeah real crime there, or do you mean gold digging bitches marrying for money, not like the govt can stop that, or are you talking about people that actually qualify for social security, the ones that CANT support themselves thats why you have to QUALIFY for it, and it ALSO will never disappear.

After four years in New York City, Obama moved to Chicago to work as a community organizer for three years from June 1985 to May 1988 as director of the Developing Communities Project (DCP), a church-based community organization originally comprising eight Catholic parishes in Greater Roseland (Roseland, West Pullman, and Riverdale) on Chicago's far South Side.[13][15] During his three years as the DCP's director, its staff grew from one to thirteen and its annual budget grew from $70,000 to $400,000, with accomplishments including helping set up a job training program, a college preparatory tutoring program, and a tenants' rights organization in Altgeld Gardens.[16] Obama also worked as a consultant and instructor for the Gamaliel Foundation, a community organizing institute

sounds like a real PEOPLE hater to me....

you can learn alot if you do your own research, turn off the TV and mass media REGULATED bull **** your starting to look bad man. lol.

i strongly agree with everything you said actually snw. i'm usually against voting because i dislike the system so much (if i really had a say i'd be able to pick from more than two pre-selected candidates to avoid the "both candidates suck" scenario), but this year it looks like obama is so much better that i think i'll vote because i don't have any doubt that he is right.

i still have a doubt, sorta, just because he was seeming very all around anti-war but he seems to have no problem dealing with Iran or Russia if the **** hits the fan, he just has enough sense to stop blowing money on Iraq.... so maybe not.... its still hard to say im pretty happy with Obama but i like to keep an open mind.... actually, now that i re-think that, Palin.... lol god she's a joke and if McCain dies which i think is pretty damn likely, i definitely don't want that artard to have ANY power over MY govt leave her *** in Alaska....

i'd give her an Alaskan pipeline. lol. urban dictionary it.

and Biden is a genius and has this so called "experience" McCain thinks obama doesn't have, if by experience you mean over the age of 65 lol....

The information you decided to quote shows that only 2.67% of people make over $200,000. Why did you say 5%?

Look, nobody runs for office unless they want to change something and that includes McCain

Snow, just because you you don't agree with me does not mean I have not researched my position. I can assure you that I have. Research is a cornerstone of my life. Research is a huge part of what I do for a living. You and I seem to have a fundimental difference. You are not a bad person and I would hope you would agree that because we disagree I am therefore not a bad person. According to Palin, the Bible says God loves you anyway - and what is wrong with that? So what if she believes????? I like that she does. At least if I want to know what she believes, I can look it up in a book that has not changed it's postion for close to 2,000 years. No filp flops in that book.

The bottom line difference of the two parties is republicans rely on themselves , demacrates rely on government. I can make my own way just fine thank you. I don't need or want to live off others success.

Snow, you seem to be a pretty smart guy and I like what I know of you and how you help people and you lack life experiance. I am convinced your thoughts will change with wisdom and experiance. My thoughts have changed as I have aged, this is not a bad thing. it's life.

My hope is we can leave this conversation as friends that don't cal one another names, that just happen to disagree on somethings.
