a little rant
i got one of my packages in today but needless to say part of it was broke. i had insurance on the package but it seems the package company does not want to do anything about it.
anyway its a triple weber 40mm turbo blow through. my plans are to convert these to efi and fix the plenum

is it extrude a body or something like that that everyone uses for good itb's ? i think thats the company sounds right. just go with that route it will be kick *** looking and you can make a clear plexiglass/lexan box to seal them in since your turbo to so you can see those beautiful motherfawkers and they arent covered up by a non transparent box

i dont know much about the parts if a weber but it seems to part of the choke or float valve. anyway im most likely going to unscrew those parts off and put a bloke plate in. yes u can convert these to efi by gutting a smale part and welding in some injector bungs. the whole setup was 500 the setup has fresh gaskets so i cant complain to much.

what type of FI do people use when they do that?

technically... you can use any EFI system on ITB's as long as you can adapt the stock parts to fit aka injectors throttle cable and TPS thats it really. in a nut shell anyways. for us we would also need a way to adapt the AFM to them and hopefully no idle issues are created since so many other emissions devices are removed, but you can use any you want. however, they would be deemed pointless without a standalone fuel system and honestly any decent standalone will do just fine

the tps is going to be easy already figured that out. injectors bungs are going to be pretty easy just drill and tig them in. with ms u dont need the afm because u have a air intake sensor. i might have to fab up a fuel rail or see if i can use my pallnet one. but these have idle control srews so thats going to be easy to set up. this is not a pratical setup by all means. just doing it for the hell and want to see some nice numbers. megasquirt is going to control everything as its doing now. i have to convert back to linkage setup so i had to dig up my linkage setup and pull out a spare gas pedal.

i know i know... i was answering the question what kind of EFI do you need and i said you COULD use stock thats why i mentioned the AFM. i loosely use the word could though because it would be tough could run into some problems with idle and such and would be kinda worthless.
