he says hes going to keep it stock, no mods. he said maybe an intake and some nicer sounding exaust but he wants to keep it the way he has it. he said though he didnt want to admit it, my z is fast as ***. its really not i just ran 14.1 in tuscon at like 3500ft but still not too bad for some mild bolt ons

Sweet! All I have on my car is the intake and exhaust plus a suspension kit (just shocks and springs, I'm thinkin about getting the sways too)...people have tried to persuade me to get a turbo or SC, but I already speed way too much lol it would just get me in more trouble. I'm pretty satisfied with the car the way it is. And if I want to go REALLY fast......I take the bike

if anything.... mod your SRT-4... sounds kinda funny saying that.... but its turbo already so it in the stock form has more potential than the Z's.... now if you turbo'ed one of them the saying can be flipped..... leave the 350 stock for sure, it will save you sooo much money. if your gonna mod a car otherwise, do the 240, its sooo easy and cheap to mod them, and you can do it very tastefully, so that its concealed mods and actually cleans up the engine bay leaving a stock restored sort of look you know?

145 in 11 seconds???? ummm.... idk about that... were you rolling from like 40 or soemthing? cause if you ever compare 1/4 mile times to speed, that just doesnt match up. and also yeah, neon people tend to run open DP's they are actually a very tame exhaust until you hit it in that form, then they get stupid loud, but low rev's shifting at 3k or less, you can pull off an open downpipe on the street with little attention

Thats true Snow....you can make alot of mods for an SRT-4 and add alot of hp for not alot of $$$$ since the turbo is already there....but I'm thinkin about trading it for a truck soon, as soon as I get the loan pay-off down further. I'm just not a big fan of FWD performance cars....much prefer RWD handling.

As far as the 240Z, all I've added so far is headers, exhaust, and a K & N filter. She moves pretty good...just so you keep the revs between 4000 & 5000 lol. Speakin of rpm's, I've had the car almost 6 months now and the tach has never worked...I figured I'd eventually get it fixed or replaced....but then last night, it suddenly started working! Bizarre. You can't beat fun with a 240Z....

Yep... "domestic rice." Look at the SRT-4. Kids putting "Euro taillights" or JDM stickers on an American car...

put it this way, modded svt focus, headers, massive port work, larger valves, bigger cams, digital ignition, some aftermarket fuel system, intake. and lightened like a ****, still beet him in my stock z32 NA auto, until he used his 75 shot of nitro and maxed out his injectors and blew his motor...
