Actually, they aren't the same thing. Touge is driving through mountain roads. Whereas, Drifting is a style of driving, which may or may not be used during a Touge run.

"drifting" in the rain = totalled car. not smart. i am surprised his car is only in a ditch. shudda been upside down, too.

I wonder if he was just confused. The car's on the side of the road, and he's walking down the middle of the lane. Maybe just didn't get his morning coffee and got it all backwards (starting with his shoe problem...).
