Rain.

So, it's raining here in SoCal again. My day is shot. I was supposed to go to some hoidy toidy breakfast meeting this morning but I have a cold and I didn't feel like getting up at 4:30 AM to drive 40 miles in the rain only to hang out with a bunch of people I don't know.

Looks like I'm "working" from home today

Get some more work done on the Z!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I'm goin' over to a friends house to help him work on his 1974 BMW 2002 Ti

I'm preparing to fly back to Indy tomorrow where my sis says it's REAL cold. I get a week off from working on cars almost every day. I think I'll go do some indoor karting while I'm away.

Its been real nice the last week up here in the NW. Still cold but sunny. About mid to upper 40's.

My exhaust pipe blew apart for the 3rd time while under boost. I don't think 2.5" is big enough for 9psi... and I need a real welded exhaust, not some ghetto fab work to connect my NA pipe to the turbo downpipe.

piglets left rear tire is flat....
this is an el nino year--thats why we have crapy weather patterns and fubar had nice weather and we had coooolld wesather...el nino goeas from june-may--winter is longer and weirder than "usual"--then, this june, the suister la nina --comes into effect--then we burn down cali with 2 more dry years then we should have an el nino again......so, this sat, phil sees his shadow, and global warming is not something anyone but rabid tree huggers can do anything aboot.......we are spozed to be swimming in 2025-----i yam ready----the depth of the water is not definitive----we will see what we will see---this planet has been overdue for wetworld for a looong time, now--we have not significantly contributed to the stuff going on--if the wet is overdue, then we made it come on slower--so, tree huggers, get a good stout one--we will all be ready to swim.......

the words on this post are not the opinions of the staff or any other human--just mine.......that is the waiver, guyZ-------lets relite the torch--i yam cold........spozed to be WARM here and nasty where snowy is-----how'd he get the good winter this time???????

Sorry Snow....it ain't ending anytime too soon.....just checked the 10-day forecast, chance of snow next 4 days. Super Bowl Sunday: snow with a high of 20 and they said a high of 14 next Tuesday! And this is central IL, might be even worse up there.....

It's raining here pretty good, in Mesa, AZ. Off and on, heavy showers at times. And I still have a leak in my roof. Argghh!! Oh well at least it is right above the shower.

Well, I jacked up the car and pulled the wheel off. Found a nail in the shoulder (Inside edge, which explains why I could never see it) It didn't look good before I got the tire off the wheel, but it looked a whole lot worse after .

Big long nail went in and gouged the caca out of the sidewall. Tire is toast. Had to special order a new one (almost 200 bux!) and my car will be on a jack stand til it gets here. I almost miss being in the tire business... Almost.

I wanna go home where it's a mild 50* already. You midwesterners can keep this frigid stuff.

Good ol' central Illinois! Heres the weather prognosis for the weekend:

Sat.: high of 16, low of 1
Sun.: high of 16, low of 1
Mon.: high of 15, low of -1

of course, chance of snow everyday too....

Don't think I'll be firing up the R1 anytime too soon.

I can see why you guys put your cars away for the winter. They look horrible with the salt and icicles all over the bodywork.
