O2 Sensor

Hey Z People:

Glad To Meet Ya. Some Of My Wiring Is Going Bad On 90 Tt. The O2 Sensor On The Harness Side Has Busted Wiring. Any Suggestions On Reparing Other Than Going To A Junk Yard? Also Any Tips On Removing The Passg Side Sensor. At Least I Can See It. Thanks

How are you with soldering and a heat gun? That's all it should take to replace the bad wiring. If it's the connector itself that busted then you can pick up a generic connector set from an autoparts store and solder that in place of the original connectors.

Thanks, I Appreciate The Response. So Any Three Prong Conector Will Do? I Can Use A Heat Gun. Also, What's The Trick To Remove The Whole Sensor, If Needed. I Bought A 11/16 Socket But Too Big. Thanks Mo

You can pick up a o2 senser socket at any autoparts store. If you dont feel like purchasing one then Autozone will loan you one. It's free but you have to leave a deposit. It's got a slit down the side so the socked fits right over the sensor and allows the wire to go out the side so it's not in the way. Or if you have a cut off tool you can make your own. I'm not sure what size the o2 sensors are on the Z32 though. As far as the connector goes, yeah. Anything will work as long as both side match up and it connects all the wires to the right wires.
