do i need fuel damper with walbro pump?
#2
I'd say yes...
The fuel damper (passenger side) is essentially a buffer to soften the pressure waves produced by the fuel pump [it damps these impulses], allowing a smoother, more consistent fuel pressure feed into the rail.
The fuel pressure regulator (driver side) sits at the exit end of the fuel rail and maintains the actual fuel pressure level in the rail by regulating the flow rate of fuel returning to the tank. Faster flow = less pressure, and vice-versa.

I had questions about that part anyway. So....I had to do a little research.
