Winter Plans for the Z anyone?

With the weather getting cooler, many Z's will be put into hibernation.
Anyone have any special plans for their Z during the downtime?

I've ordered a few things from Charles Park at PowerTrix (thanks Emo !! ). Here is my list. Let us know what you have planned.

KYB AGX shocks
Eibach springs
Subframe spacers
Front adjustable upper arms
Rear adjustable upper arms
Front adjustable tension rods
Front and rear sway bars
Carbing front and rear strut bars
Traction control arms
N/A rear toe connectings rods

Just a little plug for Charles. He put the order together at an attractive price. He has responded promptly, answered all questions patiently, kept me up to date on the status of my order (some of the items were on back order). Looks like everything was shipped on Thursday.

Now, I have to find a better way to heat my garage

My car doesn't go down for winter. It's a sunny socal winter thing, ya know.

I'm in the process of getting my deal on the Stillen Swaybarz. I'm gonna buy a coil-over kit that goes onto the stock shocks. It'll be the cheapo ebay kit, then I'll upgrade to QA1 springs @ $36 each. I'm gonna make a 300 degree type of shim kit for the front upper camber adjustment. Then, I'm picking up some stock rear upper c/a's that I'll convert to adjustable. On the tension rods, I'm looking for someone's old stockers. If I can cut the rod with a die, I'll make them adjustable. If I can't, I'll use them as a pattern to make some new adjustables.

The swaybarz go on right away. The rest will all go on at the same time after I get it all together. The subframe bushings will finally go on at that time too.

1) Get it running
2) Install rear strut bar
3) Install adjustable rear upper control arms.

CC-I think I have my old tension rods somewhere and I'll have my rear control arms available soon enough.

His SS coilovers are very popular it appears and he was sold out and it was taking a while to get them in. The more I planned how I was going to do the installs, the more I got to thinking the coilovers would have been sexy as heck but likely a bit of overkill for my needs.

Damn, the price on them was great though.

Charles has been great. His supplier sent the Carbing race version of the rear strut bar rather than usual one people order. The man is sending the upgraded bar at the original price quoted! Nice score for me and props for Charles...great customer service move on his part.

I'll be sure to take pics and post them. Thanks for all your help and for hooking me up.

Let me know, I'm interested.

Besides the fact that I like making things, my younger son started college last week so I have at least four more years of being a cheap ***. That is unless the wifey decides to retire from her current career and get a paying job.....

LOL
You live in Hawaii.
How in the world do you even presume to think the word "winter" even applies to you?
