Plans

I already am making big plans for the G35C when I get it. I spoke with Vortech today and they are going to help me with them. I am talking to a few of my other sponsors from my S. If I have a couple more that are going to help me, I will most likely be ordering the Top Secret widebody kit. All before I even have the car.

The Vortech bolts on without any modifications, correct? I know that some kind of engine management is suggested, but anything else? Thanks!

i think a fuel return system is recommended - look up a user name booger on my350z.com - he's an authority on the G and Vortech.

Vortech and Stillen are supposed to be the closest you can get to plug & play.

Anywhere in town that can do a good job installing a Top Secret widebody? Also, any good Z/G tuners? Thanks!

The place that Mikey went (name of which eludes me) did a good job but they were pricey.

The place I got my body kit done does good work, but they are way shady. They also didn't quite match my color correctly, however paint and installation quality are good. Its one of those things where you don't want to go there again, but you would because you know that they are your only option in Vegas.

LDL did awesome work on a Greddy TT 350Z, but be prepared to wait 3 months to get your car in. I do most everything myself, and what I can't do I take to SoCal.

That's what Im thinking. My friend will put the SC in. I suppose I should bring it to SoCal to have the kit installed/painted. I was told you dont need engine management with the Vortech, so maybe ill cruise on the Vortech without a tune until I get back to SoCal.

How do you get away without some kind of engine management? Just run bigger injectors?

I am not sure if this is true, but a fellow G owner with a Vortech said that he isnt running any engine management. The Vortech for the S comes with a FMU which is good enough without raising the boost.

I think the VQ Vortech Systems come with an FMU as well, but I may be wrong.
