Hi, Im Josh. I have an 84 NA that I've had since I was 14. My dad bought me the car for $400 for a restore, fixer upper project, that just sat in the garage and never happened. I have finally decided to go for it. It was burning oil badly when we parked it, even though the guy we bought it from said it had newly worked heads. Well that being 15 years ago, I recently pulled the motor and broke it down and found the top of the number 2 piston melted. No real cylinder damage, I can probably get away with polishing it. We'll see what the machine shop says. Right now I'm doing a stock rebuild, just to get the car running and driving. The mechanical problems there aren't anything I cant handle. I need to redo the interior, im kinda thinking with going with the recaro seats, and changing the interior from tan to black and tan. its a black car so it should look good. I have a 2nd NA block that I plan on building for turbo with all forged internals. I want 400+ hp out of the 2nd engine. Any help, or links would be greatly appreciated. Im looking at having the car running hopefully in a few months. Another year or 2 for the 2nd engine.
