hey guys my first but definatly not my last Z32 was put to sleep last night. I totaled by hitting the wall on the highway at 120 mph and got out without a scratch. Any ways I dont want to just junk it so how much do you guys think i should sell it for. The whole driverside is totaled, the hatch is bent the front end is destroyed the hood everything. the left side is ok xcept for the front bumper, the motor was still running after i crashed i have drilled rotors that are ok my interior is perfect, the tranny still works. help me out guys i really need the money for another Z.

wow that sucks, sorry to hear it... a RHD car ? might have a small niche in the market for parts if I read right... and def dont sell as a whole, I have seen junked cars sell for crap to people who then sell it on ebay as parts for 10X as much... with a little bit of patience you will find people who need the good parts

 

Yeah i want a Z32 really bad...and thats one less in the world now. Best bet would be to part out whats left of it on forums/ebay..sorry to hear about your loss...

 

please have a little more respect for the next Z you get. they dont make them any more. it sucks that you killed it, but it's your own damn fault, so i have no sympathy at all.

 

i have sympathy......for the car, how the hell did you manage crashing on the highway....not like its small and crazy weavy....jeez, y god yyyyyyy!!!! thats my drama

damn man, that sucks....doesn't pay to speed unless your at a track in daylight, otherwise, you may as well just expect to ruin your car.....live and learn eh?

I don't know where you live, or what type of Z you've got, but if it's a 2+2, I'm interested in a couple parts (like your WHOLE interior, +more lol), so PM me if it is so we can talk some more

hmm...yeha i could use T-tops mine are fugly in the corners...if urs are like excelent (shape, paint doesnt matter just shape) then ill take those if its a 2 seater....also what color.

 

Well 120mph and you took a wall...well that had to of scared the begeezus outta ya. If you are going to drive it like that and you walk away without a scratch I would say you need to buy lottery tickets asap.

If your car is a TT you can probably sell it to COZ in the US or someone looking to to a swap if most of the components are ok. Best advice would be to strip the good parts inside. Sell your tail, headlights and markers on Ebay and cut the front clip off if it is a TT and sell it. Much easier to sell as a clip when scrapped.

What do you have for custom parts? Anything beyond stock salvagable? The vultures are soaring about.

 

ill take the rear view mirror if its in good shape ( still switches between night and day) the lever on mine is broken and a brand new one is like 60$ and that's about what they go for on ebay. Yeah i know i could have been more responsible with it, the thing is that a truck changed into my lane and I spun out. Lucklully i didnt hit nobody but my car got really f***d up. My N/A engine still works my tranny works, everything mechanical works fine. The car just recieved major body damage, the whole chasis is twisted to the left. My right side is pretty much ok my door is perfect my right fron fender is perfect my right stock rims are perfect all of my drilled rotors are fine and my braking system. My t-tops are perfect, my interior is good(most of it). I wouldnt want to part it out because it would take a long time. Thats why i want 2 know how much i should sell the whole car for. Ill post pictures as soon as I find my digital camera link.

 

Do waht I did. PArt it out . so far my tally in parting it out is at $1371 and there is plenty more to sell. I still got the tranny and manual stuff sitting arround.

i agree...part it out....and send me the T-tops btw what color is the car out of general interest? oh and was the truck a ford? cuase ive been having soem crazy problems with me and accidents and ford trucks.

Yeah, after both insurance companies determine it was the truck drivers fault for not noticing you were doing double the posted speed limit right?


Forgive my lack of sympathy in this matter but 120 on the freeway and you're trying to make it out like it was the dude who switched lanes fault?

I have no sympathy either, read my first post. But as far as that go, in no way could the truck driver prove he was going double the speed limit unless he had it on video. As far as insurance goes, it'd be one word against another, which doesn't matter.

Truck driver "he was speeding!"
Z32Ghost "No I wasn't"
Insurance people "well we don't know if he was speeding or not, all we do know is that this truck hit this car"

I'm not condoning or saying lie, I'm just saying. If it was an 18-wheeler, he most DEFINATLY would win the case, THEN some (assuming he was alive after the accident).

 

IF IT IS A 2 SEATER I COULD USE THE INTERIOR PLASTIC TRIM IN THE REAR IF IT IS BLACK IN COLOR. THE PIECES I AM REFERRING TO ARE THE TAIL LIGHT COVERS ETC. I AM REALLY SAD TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LOSS.
