Hi i just bought my first 300zx. Ive been looking for one for awhile now and finally pulled the trigger and bought one. I have a fully stock 93 300zx with 160xxx. The body is really clean and the interior is pretty nice.(being in illinois, its very hard to come by with the winters we have). Its has a 5 speed trans/2+2 with t-tops. In great condition overall and not beat on. I did have to replace the alternator the first day i got it which gave me a good idea on how "fun" these cars are to work on with the compact engine bay. I just thought i would make a thread to introduce myself and tell a little bit about my car.
I was also wondering what upgrades or things i can do to her to make it nice? I plan on buying a full exhaust system soon once i decide on what setup buy. im open to any advice on parts i should look into or things i should change.
P.S. my trans makes a noise in 2nd and 4th gear. its not a grinding noise or anything like that. just annoying. i know i didnt describe it very well but has anyone heard of anything like it?
