In American English, "beating a dead horse" is an idiom which is most often used as a retort used to make clear that a particular request or line of conversation is already foreclosed, mooted, or otherwise resolved. In Australian English and British English, the phrase is more usually rendered as "flogging a dead horse"

no kit for the z31. kits are readily availlable for the s30, but not the z31. it would have to be custom.

Engine mounts, tranny hookups, driveline hookups, fuel line changes, wiring changes, ecu changes, possible crossmember or steering changes / modifications.... just to name a few.

Why not build a monster VG30ET? Half the cost, half the hassle, plenty of power....

the MOST cost effective thing to do is sell the NA and find a factory turbo z31. the second most cost effective method would be to put a vg30et in to the NA car.
