If you need help swapping these parts, you should just find a real man .... er ... mechanic near you. Seriously. Pick up a repair manual. Learn how to turn a screwdriver. None of those parts require any actual thought to replace.

Just switch the parts out one at a time...it's not rocket science.

If worse comes to worse just buy the parts and just find out where they are, remove and replace.

Seriously man, don't lose money with a mechanic when this is easy stuff.

you shouldn't need to do the timing. it may be a good idea, but you could get away without it.

oil filter: i think your problem is that your eyes aren't open. try some effort.

There's this new thing called the internet... it's pretty cool. You somehow managed to find ZDRIVER, but can't find anything else on the internet.

Have you asked? Or are you just looking at the shelf and not seeing anything and walking out with your tail between your legs?

wait, you can't find the oil filter on a z31??? are you freaking kidding me. my z31 was the easiest oil change of any car i have owned.

FAIL!!!!!

and the plugs are real easy too. if i remember right, you've gotta remove one of the hose brackets for one of them, and some other part for another (been a few years). all in all, pretty damn simple. whatever you do, never buy a z32. it wouldn't last a week with you.

Cool A Complete Waste of Bandwidth...

You can change the plugs using the OEM tool kit without removing anything but the plug wire boots. Too simple. I would advise using compressed air to blow any accumulated debris out of the plug holes prior to removing the plugs.

Changing the oil filter is on the same task level as driving a wheel-barrow. You can walk upright, can't you? Dang!!!

Based on what I've read so far, don't touch the car. Go build a model car, or, play video games instead. You'll be happier, and, we won't have to endure your post describing the ruination of another z31.

Why thank you very much.

It's not our fault you have absolutely ZERO mechanical aptitude. Seriously. All of those parts are about as simple as changing a light bulb.

If you can't open the hood, look at the new part in your hand, find it on your car, and swap it out, you have no business being allowed to own a pair of scissors, let alone any actual tools.

jack or stands dont cost that much. your car should come with a jack. iv seen people use wooden blocks or w/e around to keep the car from falling on them. i dont care for the redneck way but you gotta do what ya gotta do. you ride up on a curb and see what happens.
