auto to manual swap

i just bought a 1988 N/A 300zx an im doing a auto to manual swap im 18 doing it by myself an ran into a prob how in the hell do i get to the tc bolts with the adptor plate in the way? any help would be nice

Welcome to ZDriver!

Take off the torque converter cover plate (bottom half of the transmission bell housing). Then you have direct access to the torque converter bolts.

ive looked for an access hole an couldnt find one but illl look again

Access hole???

Take off the torque converter cover plate... (I think I mentioned that already).

It's ok, just take your time. These cars are easy to work on. Just don't get in a hurry.

Do you have all the needed parts? You'll probably need the manual mounts, matching drive shaft and speed O sending unit?

yeah i got most of the parts just needa get a driveshaft now having trouble getting the tc bolts loose
