Swap Wiring question
ok im not that good at reading wire diagrams so.
1 is from a 81 automatic turbo engine harness
2 is from a 79 280zx manual body harness i belive
this is located right next to the battery
obviously they dont clip together
the 81 clip has 5 wires i belive
the 79 clip only has 3
i was wondering do i have to swap all the body harness wire from the turbo like were #1 would connect to or, do i splice those wires and wich ones would i connect for the turbo to run?

I suggest BECOMING "good" at reading wire diagrams if you are working on wiring... The HBZ diagrams are very basic and helpful... and clearly show what wires go where. Please look at it, study it, take a break, study it some more...
We will help you, but only if you can help yourself too.

sounds like your almost there.
what are the wires you traced back to on the 81t harness?
im betting your going to end up jumping some wires along the line from auto to manual wire harness swap. you just need to figure out what those 5 pin wires and 3 pin wires are.
i had to do the same on my Z31 auto to manual swap.

You either need the other side of that plug that goes through the right inner fender, or you chop that plug and splice in the wires as directed in the diagram. I SERIOUSLY CANNON EMPHASIZE ENOUGH THAT YOU JUST NEED TO SIT DOWN AND STUDY THIS STUFF FOR A FEW MINUTES... JUST READ THE SWAP GUIDE...
