okay so ive been conversing w shady280 about my speedo cables. my dilemma is that i have an 82 runner and an 83 parts car the cable on the runner hung down and was basically skinned so the speedo didnt work. i pulled the one off the parts car and ran it all through hooked it up behind the gauges and it wont screw onto the tranny. they are two different connections for the tranny.



the picture of the smaller one on the left is the one that fits and the one on the right does not. i need another cable with the one on the left Shady

 

hmmm thats odd, ill check the ends of the cables i have, the one on the right is the one my cars has. what you could also do is take the tranny gear off the parts car, it is only one 10mm bolt!!

 

Just make sure the ratio is he same or you'll need to change the gear too.

dang should picked it out when you were there, or go to the local wreckers and grab one
