i need a speedo cable! lol. i went to advanced auto parts today to get one ordered today and they no longer have it. black dragon and the z store are like $70. anyone wanna make me a better deal?

i can get you one, like 15 plus shipping, what length do you have, i cant remeber if the 81.5's and up were diff lengths or not. do you need the upper short section, or the longer part?

 

im pretty sure i just need the long lower section. yeah one junkyard w one Z but its already been picked over except for the interior. idk how long its supposed to be i havent pulled mine out yet.

i have a spare one in my shead from a 280zx n/a 2+2 automatic that was my x g.f.s car... she told me to take it out and use it on my 280zx 2+2 turbo 5 speed but yet i havent found time to do so... i know for sure my problem is the small cable in the back of the speedo... i think im gonna change out my speedo with a spare one i have in my shead... damn alot of work not enough man power.. etc ! no time to so... but i cant sell mine sorry

 

from my experience, if it stops grabbing back at the tranny, it might be that gear that goes in back there, and not necessarily the cable. but the datson trannies might be different in that aspect than the one i'm thinking of.
