spark plugs

alright i just found out regular NGK's cost $4 a pop and they have to order them, so i wanted to know if there were any ill effects to using sparkplugs meant for VG series engines

heres the specs for both:

L28: http://www.ngk.com/more_info.asp?AAIA=1209305&pid=3707
VG30: http://www.ngk.com/more_info.asp?AAIA=&pid=3451

they both have the same reach and the same temp but are the threads gonna be the same?
for one reason or another the vg30's are cheaper

ok i will "doo" it. i hope it helps some of my cold running issues.
i forgot the guy i bought it from said it kept fouling plugs so he put a COLDER plug in it, and to top it off theyre autolites, 3k miles i have driven the car and theyre already pretty crusty.

he was also fouling plugs because the BCCD was outa wach and had other verious things that just needed to be tightened down, like the valve cover screw that wasnt screwed in AT ALL.

why are the older ones so much more? they dont sell as easily or something?
